Her journey did not start here, but in the coastal town of Knokke, Belgium, where she spent the first half of her life—earning a Masters in Translation Dutch/ Spanish/ and French paved the way for her journey into connecting with multiple countries and cultures. Her ambition and hard work enabled her to be successful across Europe within the jewelry industry.
She had set herself up well, but her real dream was waiting for her across the oceans. Realizing her goal to create her dream lifestyle, she decided to make a change. To live amongst the sunshine, you need to decide to stop chasing it. She found this unique little beach town of Cabarete while on vacation, and it spoke to her soul. It is here where the dream would begin.
She returned to Europe to sell her business and made a move to turn her dreams into reality! Cabarete was her ideal place to call home. Julia started her real estate journey working with other real estate companies on the island.
In 2015 she joined Cabarete Real Estate where she worked as a sales agent for five years. With the purchase of Cabarete Real Estate in February 2020, Julia became a broker within her career and within navigating and conquering her dreams. Specializing in Beachfront and Beachside Condos, Villas, and Land within the Cabarete Area, her passion is to assist you with investing in your dreams, just like she did with hers.

Equally active on and off the water, Marcel is anything but your average “boardroom” kind of professional. Originally from Steyr, Austria, his life has always been shaped by boardsports, the ocean, and a passion for building meaningful businesses.
Marcel first arrived in Cabarete in 2011, staying for five months and instantly falling in love with the area and its lifestyle. A year later, in 2012, he returned for another two-month stay, further deepening his connection to the town. From 2013 to 2019, Marcel ran the largest and most successful kitesurf school in Zanzibar, Tanzania, establishing a strong international reputation within the kitesurfing community.
Drawn back to Cabarete, Marcel purchased his first property in 2018 — a decision that marked the beginning of his real estate journey and one he still considers among the best he has made. In 2019, he took over Cabarete Real Estate, and by early 2020, relocated full-time to the Dominican Republic to focus entirely on real estate.
Today, Marcel specializes in beachfront and oceanfront properties in Cabarete, helping clients from around the world secure exceptional homes and investment properties. Known for his exceptional responsiveness and hands-on approach, Marcel is deeply committed to being available when his clients need him.

Nadine Hünicke is originally from the vicinity of Berlin, Germany, and has resided in Cabarete, Dominican Republic for over 20 years. Like many others, she came to Cabarete for a short holiday with her family and decided to relocate to this beautiful paradise.
